This privacy policy explains what information austincostseg.com (a Cost Seg Smart LLC property) collects, how we use it, and your rights. It applies to austincostseg.com and the related Cost Seg Smart network sites.

1. What we collect

Information you provide: name, email, phone, mailing address, payment details (processed by Stripe), property details, closing documents and tax assessments you upload, and message content from contact forms.

Information collected automatically: IP address, browser/device, pages visited, referrer URL, UTM parameters, click identifiers (gclid, fbclid, msclkid), and Microsoft Clarity session recordings for product improvement.

2. How we use it

To deliver any cost segregation study or report you order.
To respond to support, sales, or research inquiries.
To improve our product (analytics, where users get stuck).
Transactional and (with consent) marketing email.
Fraud prevention and account security.

3. Who we share it with

Service providers under written agreements: Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Cloudflare (hosting), Railway (backend), AWS (storage and database), OpenAI (document text extraction for reports), RentCast (property data lookups), Google (Analytics, Ads), Meta (Pixel), Microsoft (Clarity, Bing Ads). We do not sell personal information.

4. Cookies and tracking

5. Your rights (US)

Files in AWS S3 with server-side encryption. Database access scoped to IAM users. Payment data handled by Stripe (we never store full card numbers). HTTPS for all customer-facing pages and APIs.

8. Children

This is a B2B/B2C tax product. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 16.
